Christmas spirit

Stuck on an air force base, it's hard to get into the Christmas spirit. I tend to try every day though, but I guess it'll have to wait until I'm on leave. So to raise a little Mr. Santa spirit here on DA, I made a Christmas spirit making feature journal entry; yeah that's right, so get into that X-mas spirit guys and cherish the joy of Jesus' 2009th birthday and Santa's present droppings, with these amazing features.

Guess who just joined the Air Force... Well, as I'm stuck in green clothes for some time, having little spare time for artwork; I might as well use my one hour a day spare Internet time on something more sensible; like other peoples artwork. So here you go, some features; in an Air Force kind of way.

Absence from art

I'm now at a stage where I can feel the abstinence on my body. The absence from art has had an effect on my psyche for some while, but now I can really feel my fingers shaking, for the urge of creating something, something vivid and alive, yet dead and purposless. I miss the feeling of strugling for hours, tangling little detailes, over and over again, just to see a finished satisfying product on my screen or bedroom wall. It all boils down to the day when my computer died, a sad but memorable day. All the files have moved along with my dear friend up to heaven, and are for me lost, until the day where I too can arise up to the sky. So now I have to settle with a stationary orphan, which I adopted. It's not very atlethic, and far from able to run photoshop, or any other advanced programs for that matter. It's old and fragile, snoring even while awake. But that is what I've got to settle with for now, until some green paper bits come flying my way. However, I will pervail, I will manage through these horible times, a I doodle my way through every little meaningless item I can find. Because some day, the sun will shine inside my head, and grant me a new friend, maybe a mac.

I have a good feeling about this one

I'm positive, 2009 will be a great year. Even better than the past one. Therefore I can't wait until tomorrow, when I can say: I survived 2008! Wooohooo. Well, I'm always psyched about the future, and that is what tomorrow represent. Right now I'm heading out to party all night, and experiment with dangerous fireworks. So hopefully, I'm coming out of it alive.

Well Anyways. A happy new year to all of you! And thank you for the past one! Now let's PARTY!!

My new years resolution

One of my New Years resolutions, for this year, is to comment on more art. My goal, is to achieve an average of one comment a day, since I joined DA. Right now I'm on 0,67 comments a day. So my according to my calculations I'm 400 comments short, in this writing moment. So in order to reach my goal, I have to average on 6 comments a day for the next three months. Seems doable doesn't it? Anyways, you can say that I'm going to be a lot more active on DA, and embrace this wonderful community

Photo Manipulation Group on Facebook

I've created a group on Facebook. If you like to edit/manipulate photos, and is a competitive person by nature, this is the group for you. It's just for fun, you won't become a millionaire by competing, but you will win the best price of all; honor and glory. And you'll be featured in a winners gallery. Photo Manipulation Contest

It has happened again... What? Yes, that's right; Christmas! Every year I stumble over this holiday and embrace it with open arms. Now it's about one week left, and I haven't gotten around to do anything. There is Christmas shopping, Christmas decoration, Christmas eating. Well I got the eating part under control, but the rest.. wow, how will I ever get the time to do it all? It's the same phenomenon each year. The day before Christmas, I'm running around, stressed to find gifts at everything from gas stations to grocery stores. Don't worry, I always manage to find something, and people seem to like it (or at least, they say they do). So that's what I tell my self. Well, the stress aside, I can't wait. Happy holidays everyone!
